On a very sad note.....

Tall Oaks lost a legend recently with the passing of Mr. Charles Goodspeed. A father to Matt and Chris, Chuck G., as we affectionately called him, was a dear friend to all of us. His memory and all of the stories involving this fine man (and there are a heap of great ones!) will live with us forever.

Many of these good times were relived the other night when we got together at Chris and Melody's house and these are a few pictures of that event.

Into a story...

Bottoms up bitches.
Shotguns = Good times.

Queers.

Stalker.

We love you Chuck G.

Cheap way to Philly

Since I will never get around to actually uploading and posting my pictures of my trip to Philly to see Blaine Fontana's opening, "The Manifest Soup Transcripts of Four Corners" at Lineage Gallery this past September (I'm such a slacker), I'm going to post a link instead.

Here it is: link

One Man's Trash.....

Slacking big time on the blog, but I have a couple of new pieces to share. I found these wood pieces in the trash by my office and really dug the rugged, dirty state they were in. I cleaned them up a little, but wanted to keep that gritty feel.

Here they are:
Remembering Beantown
Acrylic/Mixed media on wood board
18.5" x 18.5"
This is loosely inspired by a trip up to Boston in October.

Focus Too
Acrylic/Mixed media on wood board
18.5" x 18.5"
This is sequel/continuance of my Focus piece which basically deals with me having too much crap on my plate.

That's it for now.
